Interstate 80 and Highways 6, 31 and 370 make Gretna 10 to 20 minutes from Omaha and 30 to 40 minutes from Lincoln. Shadow Lake, Village Pointe and L Street Shopping are close in additional to the local town grocery store, fitness center, salons, restaurants, medical and professional services, and other retail services. Gretna community amenites include parks, a library, sport clubs, swimming pool, and a full range of recreation programs. In 2012, Nebraska Crossing Outlet Mall was remodeled with well-known outlets joining the existing stores.
